Rascal Flatts, Tenacious D & Snow Patrol To Perform at 'American Music Awards'

Rascal FlattsThe chart-topping country trio Rascal Flatts has sold more albums in 2006 than any musical act in any genre. The two-time AMA nominee will wrap their Me and My Gang tour in early November and perform on the "2006 American Music Awards," airing live Tuesday, November 21 (8:00-11:00 p.m., ET), on ABC.

In addition, platinum recording artists Tenacious D, whose film, Tenacious D in the Pick of Destiny, will open the day after their American Music Awards performance, will take the stage to perform "Pick of Destiny" from their new album. U.K. import Snow Patrol, whose Eyes Open album has proved a huge success on both sides of the Atlantic, will also join the lineup.

The show, hosted by Jimmy Kimmel, will emanate from the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles, CA and is produced by dick clark productions, inc.
