Charlie Sheen and Denise Richards have decided to call a truce in their nasty divorce battle and spend quality time together for the sake of their children. The former couple have been waging war with each other for the past ten months, but decided to put their differences aside in August to resolve any outstanding issues related to their divorce.

Although the split hasn't been finalized, the pair were recently spotted spending time with their daughters, Sam, 2 and Lola, 1.

A representative for Sheen tells People, "When it comes to the welfare of their children, any past drama is history." A friend of Richards confirms, "They're working really hard to be friends and great parents."

On Sunday the family was even seen at a local festival in Hidden Hills, California, along with Sheen's girlfriend of four months, Brooke Mueller. Richards' friend adds, "Denise wants her to feel comfortable. She put together a bag with toys for her and the girls, along with a card telling her she's glad (Brooke) makes their father so happy."

Richards has also moved on and has been dating Bon Jovi guitarist Richie Sambora for nearly six months.
