Madonna's ex-boyfriend Carlos Leon has been in London on babysitting duties for the singer's kids while the pop superstar and her husband Guy Ritchie have been adopting a baby in Malawi.

Leon is looking after his daughter Lourdes and her half-brother, Madonna and Ritchie's son Rocco, at the star's London home, while she filed papers to adopt 13-month-old David Banda.

Madonna and Ritchie were granted an interim adoption order yesterday by a court in the Malawian capital Lilongwe and will eventually be granted full custody of the child.
