Sarah Michelle Gellar shocked fans into believing she was cheating on husband Freddie Prinze Jr. after being seen kissing Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson in public - only to confess it was all part of an impromptu film shoot.

The actress and wrestler-turn-actor were filming their sex scene for new movie Southland Tales in a hotel room, but the director insisted on moving the intimate clinch outdoors - where the paparazzi were waiting nearby. The actress saw the funny side, but was worried the press might get the wrong idea.

She says, "Dwayne and I were giggling the whole time. I was wearing this black negligee with Marabou heels, and they decided to move the scene out onto the balcony so they could see the water behind us. And of course there were paparazzi outside. So we closed our eyes and went for it."
