Bride-to-be Katie Holmes is hoping to walk down the aisle in Chanel when she marries Tom Cruise. The couple is reportedly set to wed next month - 17 months after the actor proposed to Holmes at the top of the Eiffel Tower in Paris.

Holmes, 27, has left Cruise in Beverly Hills, California, caring for their six-month-old daughter Suri, to join new pal Victoria Beckham for a shopping trip in the French capital over the weekend.

After browsing in Chanel's Paris store with Beckham, Holmes told Star magazine, "(Chanel designer Karl Lagerfeld) His work is exquisite. I'm interested in everything Karl produces, including wedding dresses."
