frontman Dee Snider
will quit the band for good this year because he dreads the idea of becoming an old rocker. The heavy metal band reunited in 2001 following a 14-year hiatus, but Snider has now had enough.
He tells Billboard, "I've told the guys that I'm done (after 2006). I've got a lot of things plaguing me. I really resented the older bands that would not know when to get off the f**king stage. I want to get out of the way and let (younger bands) have their chance in the spotlight.
"Am I saying I'll never do anything ever again? No. But am I serious that I want it to end? Yes. Not because anything's wrong, but because everything's right, so I want it to end while everything's right."
