Punk legends The Clash have teamed up with a top training shoe firm to launch their very own limited edition skateboarding footwear. Surviving members guitarist Mick Jones, drummer Topper Headon and bassist Paul Simonon stunned skate shoe company Globe when they expressed their desire to produce the trainers - which will be known as the .45 Clash shoe.
A spokesperson for the company says, "When the word came that The Clash wanted us to produce a co-branded shoe with them, we s**t ourselves!"
Just 250 pairs are to be released, retailing at $69.99.
