Gael Garcia BernalMexican actor Gael Garcia Bernal fears he may never live up to expectations of becoming a Hollywood star, despite being lauded as the "next big thing" for years. Hailed as the Mexican Brad Pitt, the 27-year-old has been a rising talent since finding fame as a child star 20 years ago, but he believes early accolades may have jinxed him.

He says, "You can call anybody the next big thing. People have been calling me that since I started working, so maybe I'll never be a big anything. I'll be like those football players who are going to be good, and then the guy is 32 and he is still going to be good; but is never actually good."
