Country star Brad Paisley
is going back to his childhood to release a Christmas tune he wrote when he was just 13. The singer penned "Born On Christmas" and performed it on Jamboree USA 20 years ago, and now the song will be included on the singer/songwriter's first festive album Brad Paisley Christmas
The new disc will feature Christmas classics like "Winter Wonderland" and "I'll Be Home For Christmas," as well as new children's songs like "Penguin, James Penguin" and "Kung Pao Buckaroo Holiday."
Paisley has been getting fatherly ever since he learned he was set to become a first-time dad. His wife, actress Kimberly Williams-Paisley
, is expecting in February. The singer also pays tribute to late hero Buck Owens
on his new album by recording a new version of his festive favourite "Santa Looked A Lot Like Daddy."
