British Love Marcia Cross's Uptight Character From 'Desperate Housewives'
Cross claims she was beside herself when she found out she was the most popular character saying, "I was very excited to hear it, first of all. It did wonders for my ego to find out that the English men thought I was sexy, because I sort of don't think of myself as the sexy one on our show. They like that buttoned-down, repressed kind of stuff, you know, maybe the argyle..."
The series is shown in 150 countries across the world and Cross is concerned that people will assume their characters represent typical American housewives.
She adds, "That's really frightening. Japan - I can't imagine what they think!"
