Michael JacksonMichael Jackson has slammed media reports claiming he plans to buy an estate in Ireland and open a leprechaun-inspired theme park.

Jackson has been spending time in Ireland, prompting the reports in the Ireland Daily Mirror.

A source quoted in the story claimed, "Michael is deadly serious about this idea. He loves the whole idea of leprechauns and the magic and myths of Ireland. It would cost around 500 million Euros to do. He's always wanted to open his own theme park and he thinks Ireland is the perfect place."

But a spokesperson for the cash-strapped star, who is currently based in Bahrain, insists the reports are "erroneous and ridiculous".
