A Friend Kept Mark Wahlberg Off Doomed 9/11 Flight

Mark Wahlberg has revealed the reason he cancelled his seat on doomed 9/11 flight United 93 was to visit a childhood friend in Toronto, Canada. The star still finds it impossible to talk about the flight but is convinced that 'Rasta' Phil, who is now working on Wahlberg's movie The Shooter, saved his life.
Wahlberg tells PageSix.com, "I just cancelled the reservation so we could all go visit my childhood friend 'Rasta' Phil, who's more like my brother, in Toronto. We hang out together. He's working with me now on 'The Shooter' in Vancouver. Don't tell him he saved my life or he'll want a big check. Actually, I never bring up 9/11 with him... I can't."
