Superstar Sir Elton John is determined to take over the hip-hop world in a musical crossover.

The rock veteran clearly developed a taste for rap after his collaboration with late rapper Tupac and now he wants to explore rap further by uniting with hip-hop heavyweights such as Timbaland and Kanye West.

John says, "I want to bring my songs and melodies to hip hop beats - a bit like No Diggity by Blackstreet. I want to work with Pharrell Williams, Timbaland, Snoop Dogg, Kanye West, Eminem and just see what happens."
