Ben Affleck has hit out at the paparazzi for ambushing stars in a desperate quest to sell photos of celebrities and their offspring. The star has eight-month-old daughter Violet with his wife Jennifer Garner, and insists photographers have crossed the line with his family.

Affleck was constantly in the public eye during his high-profile relationship with Jennifer Lopez, but he insists it's a different matter altogether when snappers target famous babies.

He explains, "I don't really understand that. If it's about my family I feel really differently about it and much more proprietary. I don't think it's appropriate. It's a weird life, it's a very weird life and I would like something a little bit more normal."
