Actress/singer Jennifer Lopez is producing a new comedy series about Los Angeles' diverse suburb of Echo Park. The series, which is being developed for cable network F/X, will take a comedic look at the mix of yuppie, Latino and hipster cultures within the Los Angeles neighborhood.

This is the third show Lopez has developed with producing partner Simon Fields. The pair has also produced the MTV series “Moves,” a dance-based reality show revolving around six amateur dancers, and the short-lived primetime soap "South Beach."
