Winona Ryder wishes she could date the men she's continuously linked with because in reality she's lonely and looking for love. The actress has avoided the glare of the media since her shoplifting trial in 2002.

When her name has been mentioned, it has been to link her with a number of celebrity men including Heath Ledger and singer Ryan Adams. Ryder insists none of the rumors are true, to her regret.

She says, "When I read about all the dates I have, it's like living vicariously through my own supposed life. But it is a dream list. I often wonder if when they read they're linked to me, maybe they'll give me a call."
