Pop star Britney Spears' parenting mishaps are being used to make a positive difference - by minor league baseball team the Newark, New Jersey Bears. The 24-year-old star was criticized earlier this year for driving with her then 8-month-old son in her lap and later in a car seat facing the wrong direction.
But on Friday the team will host a "Britney Spears Baby Safety Night," where fans will receive information on car seat safety, according to MTV News. Members of the crowd can also enter a drawing to win a free car seat courtesy of the American Automobile Association.
Would-be spectators can attend the event for free if they either bring a baby or child aged four or under, carry a baby toy or simply go all-out and dress like a baby themselves.
