These range from 1986's The Way It Is, all the way through 2004's Halcyon Days. The box includes a staggering array of guest artists including the Grateful Dead, Branford Marsalis, Ornette Coleman, Pat Metheny and Shawn Colvin. Also included are previously unreleased live versions of "The Way It Is," "Mandolin Rain," "The Valley Road," "Jacob's Ladder," "Look Out Any Window," "Lost Soul," the medley "Fields of Gray/ That's Where It's At," and "Dreamland."

The 23-track bonus DVD includes video clips of Hornsby and features collaborations with Branford Marsalis, Chaka Kahn, Roger Waters, Bonnie Raitt, the Grateful Dead and the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band.
