Paul Mccartney is releasing an album of choral and orchestral works in English and Latin in what will be his most complex musical offering to date. The 64-year-old former Beatle was commissioned by Oxford University's Magdalen College to produce the work, entitled "Ecca Coe Meum (Behold My Heart)."

The hitmaker says, "Eventually I made it all come together through correcting some misapprehensions. If it had been a Beatles song I would have known how to do it. But this was a completely different ball game."

The innovative album is set for release later this year.
