Kyra Sedgwick's multi-talented husband, Kevin Bacon, is set to direct an episode of her hit TNT drama series The Closer. Bacon will direct the final episode of the second season, which will air on TNT this December.

This collaboration marks the eighth time the pair has worked together, the third time with Bacon as director. Bacon previously directed his Emmy, Golden Globe and Screen Actors Guild Award-nominated wife in the award-winning Losing Chase, his directorial debut, as well as the critically acclaimed independent film Loverboy, in which he also co-starred.

The two-part December special will wrap up the "The Closer's" second season and will find Brenda (Sedgwick) and Provenza (G.W. Bailey) fighting to keep their jobs while on administrative leave.
