Mos Def, Russell Simmons, Q-Tip and Danny Glover are all coming to together to perform work from Tupac Shakur's spoken-word album “The Rose That Grew From Concrete.” The stars will take part in the eighth annual presentation of the "Shoulders Of Giants" at Georgia State University's Rialto Center for Performing Arts in Atlanta, organized by Tupac's mother Afeni Shakur and the Tupac Amaru Shakur Foundation.
The foundation, which was established in 1997 after the rapper's unfortunate death, aims to train and support students to enhance their creative talents. Proceeds from the "Shoulders of Giants" will go towards the continued development of the Tupac Amaru Shakur Center for the Arts.
