OutkastHip hop duo Outkast have reportedly snubbed the chance to promote their upcoming film and album on The Oprah Winfrey Show because of the chat show host's perceived negative opinion of rap music.

Fellow rapper Ludacris blasted Oprah Winfrey when she criticized the lyrical content of his tracks live on her show last year, when he was promoting his movie Crash.

And Ice Cube reiterated Ludacris' opinions, saying, "Maybe she's got a problem with hip-hop. She's had damn rapists, child molesters and lying authors (James Frey) on her show."

Canadian music channel MuchMusic reports Outkast member Big Boi was keen to publicize their Idlewild movie and accompanying album, but bandmate Andre 3000 rejected the offer.
