Weezer frontman Rivers Cuomo has given the strongest hint yet the group is on the verge of splitting to pursue solo projects. The rocker confesses his June marriage to long-time girlfriend Kyoko Ito and graduating from Harvard University in May has left him little time to work with the band.

But he doubts whether the group will ever return to the recording studio now that members are turning their attention to individual ventures.

He tells MTV, "Really, for the moment, we are done. And I'm not certain we'll ever make a record again, unless it becomes really obvious to me that we need to do one. I've been feeling pretty creative and excited, so I've been writing a lot. I certainly don't see them becoming Weezer songs. We'll just have to see."
