You've been hearing great things about new Geffen recording artist Joanna and now you'll get to see her in action as she hits the road this summer preparing for the release of her debut album This Crazy Life. Kicking off her summer promo tour Joanna will perform in Minneapolis at the Mall of America as part of Teen People's Rock & Shop Mall Tour, and then she'll open for Sheryl Crow for a few dates on her east coast run, followed by more Teen People dates and stops at summer camps and malls across the country (see below for complete itinerary.) Joanna's debut single, "Let It Slide" will go for adds at Top 40 radio July 25th and her album This Crazy Life will arrive in stores August 15th.

Joanna will touch you with This Crazy Life, an insightful collection of rock pop songs that showcase her incredible vocal ability and songwriting. Whether soaring through independence anthems like the first single "Let It Slide," bearing all on emotional ballads like "4th of July," or even stirring soulful rock on "Screaming Infidelities," the main thing that knocks you out is Joanna's powerful voice.

Joanna first started entertaining folks as a blue-collar kid growing up in Philly. The young girl with the powerhouse pipes soon began branching out from local TV talent shows to big-time Broadway auditions. She landed roles with a number of musical productions and beat out 20,000 kids for the lead role in a well publicized national search for the 20th Anniversary national tour of "Annie." After 106 performances nationally Joanna was bound to take the show back to the Great White Way. That, unfortunately, never came to fruition as Joanna came down with bronchitis and the show went on without her ensuing a media blitz of attention and support. This only made Joanna stronger and she decided to focus on her music. Joanna was a featured artist on MTV's True Life series and she also performed a song from her album on the WB's "What I Like About You."
