Britney Spears and Kevin Federline have hired a counselor to help them save their marriage, according to reports. The couple has reportedly brought in a $1,000-an-hour expert to help them solve marital problems they insist publicly are nothing more than petty disagreements.

Sources tell magazine Life & Style the couple has agreed to meet with a marriage counselor twice a week at their Malibu, California mansion in a bid to get their relationship back on track.

Spears, who is almost seven months pregnant with the couple's second child, reportedly told friends, "We need this."
