Owen WilsonOwen Wilson is stunned he has carved a successful film career by starring in comedies because he was serious during high school. The actor has starred in a string of comedies, including Wedding Crashers, The Royal Tenenbaums and Shanghai Noon, and admits he is often cast in the 'stupid' role.

He tells the New York Daily News, "It's kind of funny that I ended up working in a lot of these comedies. I wasn't the class clown in school. I didn't come from a stand-up background. It puts me on edge, that kind of machine gun (style), always looking for jokes. I haven't played too many businessmen, like grown ups with children."
