Jamie Lee Curtis has turned her back on plastic surgery and now uses her own quirky 'turquoise' method of looking and feeling good. The movie star, who famously posed in her underwear to show exactly what supposed beauties look like without make-up and photography touch-ups in 2004, admits in the past she turned to Botox, liposuction and cosmetic surgery to maintain her looks.

But now the 47-year-old star insists she's planning to grow old gracefully in her all-turquoise bathroom. She says, "My bathroom towels are turquoise, so all of my beauty products have turquoise packaging."

The star admits one of the reasons why she has turned away from cosmetic surgery is because her past dabbling has resulted in complications.

She tells West magazine, "I had lower eyelid surgery 14 years ago, which resulted in complications - allergies to things that they gave me. I came into contact with painkillers, which then started a cycle of addiction. I had some liposuction done in 1999, which also had complications."
