Country star Blake Shelton
has handed over $108,000 to officials in his native Oklahoma to help relief efforts coping with the aftermath of recent wildfires in the state.
The singer raised the cash at a charity Raindance festival in May, where he was joined by fellow country acts Tracy Byrd
and Andy Griggs
Shelton hopes to make the three-day fundraiser an annual charity event.
