Chloe Sevigny once shaved off her waist-length hair and sold it to a wigmaker because she wanted to change her image. The star now realizes she could have made a lot of money from her hair but was happy enough then just knowing her mother liked the drastic alteration.

And while Sevigny says she would sport the look again, she would only do so for a movie role.

The 31-year-old tells the New York Daily News, "I shaved my head with I was 17 years old. I had really long hair down to my waist. I wanted a rebirth. Caucasian hair is rare in the wig trade, and my hair was blond and never dyed. I probably should have gotten a lot more money for it. My mother and my brother were so thrilled because my hair had always been so greasy, and I always wore it in my face.

"I would never do a buzz again, but I would like to do a Mia Farrow/Jean Seberg really short look for a movie. If you have to shave your head, you get an extra pay cheque. But this time it would not be $500. It would be $500,000."
