A gifted singer-songwriter, Stacie Orrico possesses a soulful voice and true musical talent. It was just as apparent at the young age of 12 when she signed her first record deal as it is now at the age of 20, eight years into a successful pop career. It has been three years since Stacie’s self-titled release with Virgin in 2003 (the follow up to her smash debut Genuine) but after a break for college and some much-needed personal exploration, she found herself back in the game co-writing what is truly a Beautiful Awakening.

Going into the studio, Stacie had a vision of a peaceful album her fans could unwind to and the result is just that. Beautiful Awakening is a stripped-down collection of pop anthems and ballads that sets raw beats, guitar, and piano against Orrico’s jazz-inflected powerhouse vocals. Beautiful Awakening will be in stores August 29th, 2006.
