allegedly asked an Australian journalist to write favorably about his band in a bid to change negative public opinions. But when Jack Marx listened to 30 Odd Foot Of Grunts'
material, he was less than impressed.
Marx says, "I had expected a lumpen, tuneless racket. What I heard was something far less remarkable."
Despite his status as a non-fan, Marx agreed to big up the group, but was then dropped by Crowe who didn't think the profile was flattering enough. Crowe has since formed new band The Ordinary Fear Of God.
