Nick Lachey was left speechless when one gay fan suggested he give up on women following his painful split from Jessica Simpson - and give men a try. The star was promoting his new album when he was approached by the cheeky fan, who started off the conversation by telling Lachey he felt for him after the public break-up.

Lachey says, "I was asked if I'd ever consider playing for the other team, which was a 'Ooh, I'm not expecting that one.' I answered it, 'While I respect the other team and recognise that there is another team and they too play ball, I am not interested in playing for the other team.'"
