Vince Vaughn regularly gives his father a role in his films because he brings him good luck. His father Vernon stars in his latest film The Break-Up as Jennifer Aniston's character's father.

He explains, "Christmas came early. There are worse things you can do for a father. He's excited. He was in Swingers, he was also in Made. Me and Jon (Favreau) have always used him. He's kind of a good luck charm. It's just fun to give him a part, it's fun for me to have him there, he does a good job."
