was voted top in a poll of U.K. music fans. The collection, which boasts hit singles "Live Forever" and "Cigarettes & Alcohol," beat the likes of Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band
by The Beatles
and Radiohead's OK Computer
The album was released 12 years ago and went straight to number one in the U.K. charts. Another Oasis classic - (What's The Story) Morning Glory?
- was voted number five in the survey organized by the book of British Hit Singles and Albums and music magazine site NME.com.
The newest record in the Top 100 list is troubled rocker Pete Doherty's 2002 debut effort Up The Bracket
with his former band The Libertines
, at number 15.
