Award-winning actor Kelsey Grammer returns to NBC in a surprisingly dark guest-appearance on the supernatural drama Medium episode "Death Takes a Policy" on Monday, May 8. Grammer, who plays "The Angel of Death" in this can't-miss episode, also serves as an executive producer on the show.

"I am delighted to be working with the cast of 'Medium,' for whom I have the utmost respect and admiration," said Grammer. "It's nice to switch hats for a week and spend a little time in front of the lens."

In this episode, filled with surprises and suspense, "The Angel of Death" (Grammer) starts appearing to Allison (Patricia Arquette), during an investigation into the death of a local physician. Allison's visions, coupled with a sequence of nerve-rattling incidents, cause her to worry that she might be the next name on "Death's" list.
