Rosie O'DonnellRosie O'Donnell will need to keep her hair long if she's to pick up a $2 million pay packet as the new co-host of magazine show The View. The actress has come out of syndicated TV show retirement to replace Meredith Vieira on the news and chat morning show - but she'll have to keep her hair long if she wants to remain at The View's breakfast table with Barbara Walters and Star Jones.

Revered newswoman Walters, who created the show, has stipulated that O'Donnell must never return to the cropped look that shocked her fans after quitting the Rosie O'Donnell Show in 2002. Understanding O'Donnell says, "I don't blame them. I remember that haircut. The hair will be staying long."
