Justin Timberlake Shrugs Off Criticism Over 'Edison'

Justin Timberlake is undeterred by criticism of his movie debut Edison and refuses to let it stop him from acting. The film has been described as a "a star-studded dud of a B-picture" and the 25-year-old's performance as a reporter as like "a reporter from Seventeen magazine".
But Timberlake has already taken on a host of follow-up roles and is determined to keep trying. He says, "I'm doing what I want to do, no matter what other people think. If you enjoy and you're inspired and driven, then that's all that matters."
In "Edison," corruption is the law of the land in the American every-town of Edison, and the only soul brave enough to peer into the fire and face the wrath of an entire squad of corrupt cops is a fresh-faced journalist in this neo-noir thriller. Joshua Pollack (Justin Timberlake) has discovered a glitch in the system, and as a fledgling journalist he sees it as his duty to expose the corruption.
