Motley Crue 'The Dirt' Set for the Big Screen
‘The Dirt’ is being made by Paramount Classics and MTV Films, and will be based on the rockers' 2001 book "The Dirt: Confessions Of The World's Most Notorious Rock Band."
The book was written by bandmates Nikki Sixx, Tommy Lee, Mick Mars and Vince Neil, along with writer Neil Strauss.
It tells the story of the band's rise, complete with all the ups and downs of friendships, on the tour and in the recording studio.
All of the band members, along with Strauss, will serve as executive producers on the film.
Larry Charles, who directed ‘Masked and Anonymous’ which starred singer Bob Dylan, will direct the film and help the band bring their story to the big screen.
