Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes used decoy cars to leave the hospital after her daughter was born. The Mission Impossible 2 star used a plan worthy of agent Ethan Hawke himself, to get his fiancée and the new-born baby away from the Santa Monica hospital without being followed.

Tom and Katie left the St John's Hospital just 12 hours after the Dawson's Creek actress gave birth to 7lb 7oz baby Suri on Tuesday. The couple quickly leapt into a black Ford Excursion SUV with their wrapped-up baby and fled the medical center.

Simultaneously two identical Excursions rushed away from the scene heading for decoy locations, one of those reportedly being a Los Angeles Scientology Centre, of which Tom is a regular visitor.
