Desperate Housewives beauty Eva Longoria is adamant she won't renew her contract with the hit TV show because she has set her sights on becoming a movie star. The actress, who plays sultry Gabrielle Solis on the series, is eager to move on to the big screen and insists no amount of money could convince her otherwise.

When asked how long Desperate Housewives would stay on the air she replied, "God, I hope not past our contract. Honestly, I think shows wear out their welcome. I don't want to be on Seventh Heaven - on for 20 years and no one's really watching and it's hanging on by a thread. Even now there's no amount of money that would make me decide something for a career. And I want to do movies anyway."
