Toby Keith, Kenny Chesney and Sugarland are set to perform, along with previously announced performers Carrie Underwood and Rascal Flatts, at the "41st Annual Academy Of Country Music Awards" hosted by Reba McEntire, Tuesday, May 23, on CBS.
Dr. Phil and Robin McGraw, as well as Cold Case star Kathryn Morris, are set to present. The event honors country music's top talent as well as the industry's hottest emerging talent.
Toby Keith has won "Entertainment of the Year" honors twice, and is nominated in that category again this year. He is also nominated for Video of the Year for "As Good As I Once Was."
Last year's Academy of Country Music Awards' "Entertainer of the Year," Kenny Chesney, repeats as an "Entertainer of the Year" nominee this year in addition to his nomination for "Top Male Vocalist." Chesney is the Academy's latest Triple Crown winner, given to those artists who have won in the one of the Top New categories, the "Top Male" or "Top Female" categories and "Entertainer of the Year" -- a feat only six artists have accomplished in the Academy's 41-year history.
Sugarland is nominated for five awards including "Top Vocal Group," "Top New Duo or Vocal Group," "Album of the Year" (Twice the Speed of Life), "Single Record of the Year" and "Song of the Year" (both for "Baby Girl").
