Emmy Award-winning actress Finola Hughes returns as Anna Devane on daytime drama General Hospital, the role she originated two decades ago. In the upcoming storyline, Anna literally "drops in" when, up to their old ways, Luke (Anthony Geary) and Robert (Tristan Rogers) are on the run from the law while visiting the fictional Maarkam Islands.

"I am very excited to be reprising the role of Anna and reuniting with my 'General Hospital' family. My return has to do with Kimberly McCullough (Robin Scorpio) convinced me to come back to Port Charles... and whining a lot," said Hughes with a laugh.

Last seen on "General Hospital" in 1992, Hughes has also been seen in Charmed, "Dream On" and Tracy Takes On. In addition, she is the host of the Style Network's series "How Do I Look?"

Hughes return to "General Hospital" will be in time for the show's sweeps storyline on May 12.
