Desperate Housewives star Eva Longoria wants to have Michael Douglas as her next lover in the hit TV show. The Hispanic beauty, who starred alongside Douglas in crime drama The Sentinel, is determined to romance the ageing movie star - on screen at least.

She says, "He could play my older lover."

On the hit series, Longoria's character Gabrielle is currently trying to adopt a child with her husband Carlos.
