Nicollette Sheridan: Less Trash, More Class
March 27th, 2006 10:42am EST Post a comment Add to My News
Nicollette Sheridan is having a makeover - because she reportedly wants to ditch her trashy on-screen image. The stunning actress is said to be sick of people thinking she dresses like her tacky Desperate Housewives character, Edie. She is apparently swapping her tight tank tops and slinky jeans - which Edie also wears - for more classic clothes from her favourite designers.
The 42-year-old star's hairdresser, Chaz Dean, revealed: "Nicollette knows that many people can't differentiate between her and Edie so she's trying to dress impeccably.
"Quite often she's photographed as she leaves the set of 'Desperate Housewives', still in those clingy costumes and with hairpieces attached. Playing Edie has allowed her to see that dressing fro her age definitely has its advantages."
The stylist added: "She wants a far more classic and elegant look. She's looking to Grace Kelly as her inspiration. She's definitely making a concerted effort to become more sophisticated and mature in her style, and it really suits her.
"More class, less Edie."
