Tennis Ace Serena Williams Offers Advice on 'Bernie Mac' Episode

Serena WilliamsTennis great Serena Williams guest-stars with Bernie Mac in his confessional on The Bernie Mac Show, offering him advice on the delicate relationship between sisters Friday, April 7, on FOX.

In this episode, "Spinning Wheels," Wanda's sister Valerie (Shar Jackson) shows up to celebrate Wanda's birthday and old sisterly rivalries get in the way when her plans to thrown Wanda a roller disco party for the occasion go awry and Bryana's Daddy, Bryan (Anthony Anderson), saves the day. Williams guest-stars to offer Bernie advice on the situation.

At 23, Williams has won a title in all four Grand Slam tournaments – seven in total, including four back-to-back. She has won 26 singles championships, 11 doubles championships, and was a gold medalist at the 2000 Olympics. In 2002, Williams won the Italian Open, French Open, Wimbledon and U.S. Open. On the heels of those accomplishments, Williams was named Associated Press Female Athlete of the Year, Best Sportswoman in the World by EFE News Agency of Spain and one of BBC's Sports Personalities of the Year, and was nominated for Sports Illustrated's Sportsman of the Year Award. In 2003, she won the Australian Open (singles and doubles), NASDAQ Open, French Indoors and Wimbledon. She also won two ESPY Awards: Female Athlete of the Year and Female Tennis Player of the Year.
