Meg Ryan Had Second Thoughts About Daughter's Name
March 2nd, 2006 4:00pm EST Post a comment Add to My News
Meg Ryan has been forced to change her adopted baby daughter's name because she doesn't look like a "Charlotte." The star dubbed her Chinese baby Charlotte when she picked her up late last year, but now she's decided her daughter doesn't fit the name she gave her.
Appearing on a recent taping of the Oprah show, Ryan said, "I already had to change her name because there she is, just about a year old, and I thought she was Charlotte and she's just not - she's a Daisy."
But it's the only thing Ryan has had second thoughts about - she loves being an adoptive mother. She adds, "She's got the most open, beautiful, honest face you'll just ever see. I just feel really lucky again. She's just this bundle of happiness and love just bopping around my house."
