Julianne Moore Recalls Drama School Assignment
She recalls, "When I was in drama school we had to do a whole thing with facial hair - you had to learn how to apply facial hair. My hair was long and I did a long red beard and a moustache and everything, and I got on the train, going home, and nobody blinked. I looked like a straggly college kid."
The actresse's latest project is Freedomland about a woman who blames a man from the projects for kidnapping her son, creating a racial controversy. An African-American detective and a white newspaper reporter investigate the case, which winds up being more complicated than they anticipated.
