Ice Cube Plans 'Are We There Yet?' Sequel
Rapper/actor Ice Cube's forthcoming film Mr. Blandings Builds His Dream House is to be reworked as a sequel to his 2005 hit movie Are We There Yet? Ice Cube, real name O'Shea Jackson, was set to star in a remake of the 1948 Cary Grant film, but Revolution Studios have decided to alter the storyline after the success of Are We There Yet?.Ice Cube and director Steve Carr will remain on the project, now entitled "Are We Done Yet?," but Thomas Haden Church has been dropped from the casting.
Revolution is said to be in talks with Are We There Yet? stars Nia Long, Aleisha Allen and Philip Bolden to reprise their roles for the sequels. Filming begins in Vancouver, Canada in June.
