Veteran crooner Johnny Mathis was less than impressed when he found a pair of naked women in his swimming pool - he promptly rang the police. The 70-year-old singer admits his discovery of the bathing beauties would be a fantasy for many men, but he wrote off the break-in as "bizarre".

He recalls, "I've had a few fanatics over the years. A couple of women got pretty crazy and forced their way into my house. They took off their clothes and jumped in the pool. I tried to reason with them. It was the most bizarre thing I've ever seen. Did I fancy them? Oh no, I called the police."
