Rock supergroup Transplants have reportedly split, six months after they cancelled their last tour. Rumors have been circulating since last summer, when all promotional work on the group's second album Haunted Cities (click for review) ground to a halt.
Frontman Rob Aston appeared to confirm the split in a recent interview. Although a spokesperson insists The Transplants are merely on a break, the trio are now dedicating all their time to other bands; Aston to Expensive Tastes; Blink 182 drummer Travis Barker to Plus 44 and guitarist Tim Armstrong to his longterm group Rancid.
